The premise, in the publisher's words
Will you be able to strike the right balance between economy and defence? Do you need more archers, thicker walls or an additional mill? Will you keep the enemies at bay with your longbow or charge your horse right into them? It's going to be a tough night, but nothing beats seeing the sun rise above your little kingdom to live another day.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action, fantasy and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Thronefall launched on 11 October 2024, within three weeks of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Silent Hill 2, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
