The premise, in the publisher's words
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS) is a physics-based strategy video game developed and published by Landfall. An alpha version of the game was initially released in 2016 to a small audience. The game was released for macOS and Windows on April 1, 2019, for Xbox Series X/S in October 2021, for Nintendo Switch in November 2022, for PlayStation 4 in September 2023, for PlayStation 5 in December 2024, and for Android and iOS in August 2025. It has since received numerous free updates that have added new content, such as maps, units and new editors, in addition to fixing bugs and improving the performance.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action, comedy and warfare. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Multiplayer and Single player. There are 64 achievements to unlock.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.1 GHz or AMD FX-6300 @ 3.5 GHz or equivalent, 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD R9 270 (2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better). An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 4GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.

Storefront pricing varies enormously by country: Egypt is the cheapest region we track at $3.05 (about $3.05), while Germany pays €6.45 — 2.4 times more. In Pakistan it is priced at Rs 3 on Steam, which is about $3.05.
What it launched against
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator launched on 1 April 2021, within three weeks of It Takes Two, Disco Elysium: Final Cut, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut and Monster Hunter Rise. It arrived 1 year into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
