Chained Echoes

Chained Echoes is an adventure game developed by Matthias Linda and released in 2022. It was published by Deck13 Spotlight. It is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux, Mac and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Unity.

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action and fantasy. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 37 achievements to unlock.

Chained Echoes launched on 8 December 2022, within three weeks of Marvel's Midnight Suns, World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Pokémon Violet and High on Life. It reviewed better than all of them. It arrived 9 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
