What this site is

An independent reference and editorial publication about video games. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher, developer or platform holder.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep release dates, prices, requirements and cheat codes correct, and we date-stamp everything so you can judge how fresh it is. But games patch, prices move hourly and publishers change their minds. Information here is provided as-is. Always check the store page before you buy.

Cheat codes

Cheat codes listed here are features built into the games themselves. We do not host, link to or endorse trainers, memory editors, downloadable hacks, or anything intended for use in online multiplayer. Using third-party software to gain an advantage online violates most publishers' terms and will get an account banned — that is on you, not us.

Some in-game cheats permanently disable achievements or corrupt saves. Where we know this, it is flagged on the code. Use them at your own risk.

Intellectual property

Game names, logos, cover art, screenshots, characters and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They appear here for identification, reference and commentary, which we consider fair use / fair dealing. If you own rights to material on this site and want it removed, see the DMCA page.

Our own written content — guides, descriptions, cheat listings and editorial — belongs to us. You may quote short excerpts with a link back. You may not republish pages wholesale or scrape the site to rebuild the database elsewhere.

Automated access

Well-behaved crawlers that respect robots.txt are welcome. Bulk scraping, request flooding and any attempt to reconstruct our database are not, and we will block them.

User submissions

When you submit a cheat code, you confirm it is your own knowledge and not copied from another site, and you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to publish and edit it. We may reject or remove any submission for any reason. Submitting something you copied from a competitor gets you banned.

Affiliate links

Some store links earn us a commission. This never changes your price, and price comparisons are always sorted by actual cost rather than by what pays us most.

Liability

We provide this site as-is with no warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including a purchase you made based on a price we listed, or a save file you broke with a cheat code.
