The premise, in the publisher's words
An unnamed Pioneer employed by the megacorporation FICSIT Inc. is dropped from orbit onto the surface of an alien planet designated MASSAGE-2(AB)b. The drop pod malfunctions, and the Pioneer barely survives the landing, awakening with no memories. Guided by FICSIT's artificial intelligence, ADA, the Pioneer learns she is one of few to have landed successfully in the region. ADA instructs her to begin constructing infrastructure for ""Project Assembly,"" described only as part of a larger initiative called the Save the Day Program, intended to rescue Earth from an unspecified catastrophe. As the Pioneer builds deeper into the planet's wilderness, she discovers mysterious alien artifacts that…

It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are open world, sandbox and science fiction. It supports multiplayer for up to 4 players online. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player. There are 44 achievements to unlock.

An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 20GB.
