How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are 4x (explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate), action, open world and sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player. There are 34 achievements to unlock.
How long it takes, and what that costs
The main story runs about 50 hrs. Completing everything takes closer to 100 hrs, roughly 2 times the length of the critical path.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-1235U or equivalent, 8 GB RAM and Intel Iris Xe Graphics or equivalent. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 30GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
