There are 29 cheat codes for Quake across PC (Microsoft Windows). Each code below lists the exact button combination or console command, what it does, and whether using it disables achievements.
Console commands
29All weapons and ammo
Gives every weapon, full ammunition and all keys.
Press ` and type the command.
Easy Difficulty
Sets difficulty to Easy (fewer, weaker monsters)
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Fly
Move freely in any direction.
Press ` and type the command.
Fly Mode
Lets you fly and hover; type again to land
Pull down the console with ~, type fly and press Enter
Give Cells (Lightning Ammo)
Gives the selected number of Cells for the Thunderbolt
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Give Health
Restores the selected amount of health; values above the normal max decay back to 100
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Give Nails
Gives the selected number of Nails for the Nailgun and Super Nailgun
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Give Rockets
Gives the selected number of Rockets for the Grenade and Rocket Launchers
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Give Shells
Gives the selected number of Shells for the Shotgun and Double-Barrel Shotgun
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Give Weapon by Number
Grants the weapon for the number typed (2 = Shotgun, 3 = Double-Barrel, 4 = Nailgun, 5 = Super Nailgun, 6 = Grenade Launcher, 7 = Rocket Launcher, 8 = Thunderbolt)
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
God Mode
Makes you invulnerable to all damage
Pull down the console with ~, type god and press Enter
Hard Difficulty
Sets difficulty to Hard (more monsters)
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
High Gravity
Heavy, fast-falling gravity (hard mode falls)
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Ignore enemies
Monsters stop reacting to you.
Press ` and type the command.
Impulse 11 (Quad Damage)
Grants a Quad Damage charge (each use consumes one; a special item in Scourge of Armagon)
Pull down the console with ~, type impulse 11 and press Enter
Impulse 255 (Quad Damage)
Grants Quad Damage
Pull down the console with ~, type impulse 255 and press Enter
Impulse 9 (All Weapons and Keys)
Grants every weapon with max ammo plus both keys
Pull down the console with ~, type impulse 9 and press Enter
Jump to a level
Loads the named level.
Press ` and type the command.
Kill Player/Monsters
Kills the player and all monsters in the area
Pull down the console with ~, type kill and press Enter
Low Gravity
Low gravity for floaty air control (moon-style jumps); server/console variable
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Nightmare Difficulty
Sets difficulty to Nightmare (maximum monsters and damage)
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
No clipping
Walk through walls.
Press ` and type the command.
No-Clip (Walk Through Walls)
Fly through walls and out of the world
Pull down the console with ~, type noclip and press Enter
Normal Difficulty
Sets difficulty to Normal
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Normal Gravity
Default gravity (Quake's standard 800)
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Show FPS and Time
Prints frame rate and level time in the top-right corner; showfps 0 turns it off
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Show Speed
Prints current player movement speed; showspeed 0 turns it off
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Super Fast Air Control
Extra responsive mid-air steering
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
Toggle Crosshair
Enables (1) or disables (0) the screen-centre crosshair
Pull down the console with ~, type the command and press Enter
