What Orba is
Orba is an indie game developed by Robro Games and released in 2026. It is available on Linux and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Godot.
The premise, in the publisher's words
ORBA is a fast-paced 2D pixel-art action game where you race a fragile Orb up a deadly tower. Dash through shifting floors, use powerful Lucky Charms to outpace destruction, and push your limits before the Orb shatters.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-5200U, 4 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 940M. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Orba launched on 13 September 2026, within three weeks of Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Control Resonant and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
Released around the same time: Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Control Resonant, Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
