The premise, in the publisher's words

The story follows the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi as he journeys through a dark fantasy vision of Kyoto during Japan's Edo period. In this shadowy, supernatural version of the ancient capital, Musashi crosses blades with rival swordsmen while confronting far more terrifying foes: demons and other monstrous threats that lurk beyond the world of the living. Armed with his sword and honed reflexes, he strikes, parries, and turns his enemies' own momentum against them as he cuts a path through the perils that await. Set against the atmospheric backdrop of a haunted feudal Japan, the tale follows one master warrior's deadly struggle against the encroaching darkness.

A 16GB memory requirement is demanding — worth checking before you buy, because 8GB is still common in older and budget machines. Install size is roughly 50GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
