Oblivion Cheat Codes
Grouped by type and platform, each one labelled reported working or tested.
There are 18 cheat codes for Oblivion across PC (Microsoft Windows). Each code below lists the exact button combination or console command, what it does, and whether using it disables achievements.
Console commands
18Add Item to Inventory
Add a chosen quantity of a specific item (replace [ID] with the item code and # with the amount)
Open console, type e.g. player.additem 00027105 1 for the weapon Goldbrand, press Enter
Boost Skill Points
Add points on top of a skill's current value
Type e.g. modpcs sneak 25 in the console
Clear Bounty
Wipe out your criminal bounty so guards stop hunting you
Type player.setcrimegold 0 in the console
Complete a Quest
Force a quest to finish instantly
Type e.g. completequest followed by the quest ID in the console
Can skip quest rewards and break later quest stages — use setstage instead when possible
Free Camera
Detach the camera and fly around for screenshots
Type tfc in the console; repeat to return to normal
God Mode
Become invulnerable to all damage and never drain stamina
Press ~ (tilde) to open the console, type tgm, press Enter
Instant Level Up
Gain one full level-up immediately
Type advlevel in the console
Kill Everything Nearby
Kill every NPC and creature around you
Type killall in the console
Important NPCs are only knocked unconscious, but this can still break scripted scenes
Kill Target
Instantly kill the NPC or creature you clicked on with the console open
Open console, click the target, type kill, press Enter
Quest-essential NPCs usually just fall unconscious instead of dying
Learn Every Spell
Unlock all spells in the game at once
Type psb in the console
No-Clip Flight
Toggle collision off so you can walk through walls and fly
Type tcl in the console; type it again to turn it off
Remastered God Mode Plus
God mode plus one million gold, ten thousand lockpicks, every spell, and maxed skills
Open the console with ~ and type ObvGodMode
Remastered (2025) only — will not work in the 2006 classic
Reveal All Map Markers
Unlock every fast-travel location on the world map
Type tmm 1 in the console
Revealed markers cannot easily be hidden again
Set Character Level
Set your level to any number (replace # with the number)
Type e.g. player.setlevel 20 in the console
Setting an extreme level can unbalance quest and loot scaling
Set Skill Level
Set one of your skills to an exact value
Type e.g. player.setav blade 100 in the console
Teleport to Quest Target
Jump straight to your active quest's objective
Type movetoqt in the console
Train Skill
Raise a skill by a chosen number of points
Type e.g. advskill marksman 20 in the console
Unlock Anything
Open any locked door, chest, or container
Open console, click the locked object, type unlock, press Enter
