Console Command Builder

Choose a game and a command, change the amount, item or location, and copy a line that is checked before it reaches your game.

A console command builder fills in the parts of a command that change — an amount, an item ID, a coordinate — and gives you the exact line to type, checked before you copy it. It covers 22 games including Skyrim, Minecraft, The Sims 4, Counter-Strike 2 and the Paradox strategy games.

What it checks, and what it cannot

The builder checks the form of each value: a whole number where the game wants one, an item ID with the right number of characters, a country tag in capitals. That catches the typos that make a console reject a line.

It cannot check that an ID exists in your copy of the game, that a mod has not changed it, or that the console is switched on. For those, the cheat troubleshooter walks through the usual reasons, and the command finder searches every code we list.

Quick answers

About the command builder

Why does the builder refuse some values?
Each field only accepts the form the game expects — a Skyrim item ID is eight hexadecimal characters, an EU4 country tag is three capitals. A value in the wrong form is a command the game will reject, so the builder stops you before you copy it.
Why is a game marked not available on consoles?
Some games have no command console outside PC. Skyrim's console exists on PC only, so a command built for it cannot be entered on PlayStation, Xbox or Switch.
Where do these command shapes come from?
Every template is the shape of a command already listed on that game's cheats page, and its default values reproduce that listed command exactly.
