Unpacking is a job-simulator game about inspecting packages, deciding if they are accepted or denied depending on the rules of that day and doing different procedures for each package.

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are kids. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Unpacking launched on 15 September 2018, within three weeks of Marvel's Spider-Man, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Marvel's Spider-Man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It arrived 5 years into the Xbox One's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
