UBoat

UBoat is an indie game developed by Deep Water Studio and released in 2024. It was published by PlayWay S.A.. It is available on PlayStation 5, Mac and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Unity.

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action, historical, stealth and warfare. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 51 achievements to unlock.

The minimum specification calls for Core i3 3.1 GHz or AMD Phenom II X3 2.8 GHz, 6 GB RAM and GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB (1080p Low) or AMD equivalents. An 6GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 71GB. UBoat launched on 2 August 2024, within three weeks of Black Myth: Wukong, Nobody Wants to Die, Thank Goodness You're Here! and Cat Quest III. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
