Cat Quest III launched on 8 August 2024, within three weeks of Black Myth: Wukong, Thank Goodness You're Here!, Halls of Torment and Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. It reviewed better than 3 of the 4. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
