The premise, in the publisher's words
Welcome to The Cabin Factory - as a newly hired Cabin Inspector your job is to inspect the cabins and determine whether or not they are haunted. Inspect the whole cabin: If haunted, turn back immediately and press 'danger'. Is safe, press 'clear'. The Cabin Factory is a short horror anomaly-hunting experience (~60 minutes) inspired by liminal spaces and psychological horror walking simulators, like 'The Exit 8', 'Pools', and their virtual predecessor, 'P.T.'.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are horror and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

The Cabin Factory launched on 13 December 2024, within three weeks of Delta Force, Marvel Rivals, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Caves of Qud. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
