What Starlife is
Starlife was developed by Silversmith&Gamer. It is available on iOS only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Starlife is an educational astrophysics puzzle for iPad and iPhone. You push clouds of gas with your fingers, condense them into stars, and balance a mass budget to solve short, science-grounded puzzles about how stars are born, live, and die. It's built with Flutter and the Flame engine, single-player, iPad-primary. The aesthetic is realism-leaning: naturalistic gas rendered by a signed-distance cel-shader, science-grounded stars with real reference analogs, and a calm, unhurried tone. Every number in the game traces back to actual astrophysics. Known science determines star mass, color, lifetime, the way it dies, and other physics outcomes.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are educational, non-fiction and sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
