The premise, in the publisher's words
They say a man must do three things in his life: plant a tree, beget a son and build a house. We can’t help you out with the tree neither with the son, but you can build as many houses as you like while playing House Builder.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action, educational and sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What it launched against
House Builder launched on 15 January 2024, within three weeks of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Persona 3 Reload, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and Tekken 8. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
