What Staged is
Staged is an arcade game developed by Project Sunset and released in 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Unreal Engine 5.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Staged is a co-op first-person physics party game for 1–4 players. Play mischievous goblins, rebuild stage sets from reference photos, haul oversized props through tight backstage spaces, and get every placement right before the curtain rises.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action and comedy. It supports multiplayer for up to 4 players online. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-7400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 12 GB RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580. A 12GB memory requirement is demanding — worth checking before you buy, because 8GB is still common in older and budget machines. Install size is roughly 10GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Staged launched on 2 September 2026, within three weeks of Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
Released around the same time: Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
