What you need to run it

The minimum specification calls for Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2160 1.80 GHz, 2 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS, Intel HD Graphics 3000, or ATI Radeon HD 4650. At 2GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 20GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.

What it launched against

Skyforge launched on 11 April 2017, within three weeks of Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and What Remains of Edith Finch. It reviewed better than 1 of the 4. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.

Released around the same time: Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, What Remains of Edith Finch.
