The premise, in the publisher's words
Rail Island is a 3D transport sandbox played in a web browser. Players generate an island, sculpt its terrain, build railways and roads, and connect towns with stations, bridges and tunnels. Its transport network supports trains, buses, trams, ships, aircraft and cable cars, with shared lines, timetables and vehicle cameras. Landscape tools include rivers, lakes, waterfalls, channels, dams and locks. A built-in Creator supports custom GLB buildings and vehicles, while guided tutorials introduce railway construction and signalling. Islands can be shared through a community gallery.
