The premise, in the publisher's words
Obey is an asymmetrical multiplayer game. We've all played games where you send commands to teammates or AI units. Obey instead puts you in the position to command your enemies (human opponents), and to be commanded by them. Players are always free to obey/disobey. It is up to players to deal with the consequences of thier own decisions in the game.
How it plays
Its themes are action. There are 88 achievements to unlock.
How it was received
Obey holds a critic score of 90 out of 100. That places it above 93% of the 5,098 rated indie games in our database, which average 72. Games released in 2015 averaged 69, so it scored 21 points above the year average.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Dual Core processor, 1500 MB RAM and 128MB GeForce 8400 / Radeon HD 4000 series or equivalent. At 1GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
