What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel® Core™ i3-2100 @ 3.10 GHz / AMD FX-4100 @ 3.60 GHz or better, 4 GB RAM and NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 450 1GB / ATI® Radeon™ HD 7770 1GB or better. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. It also needs around 110GB of free storage, which is a real consideration on a 512GB drive. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
NBA 2K21 launched on 3 September 2020, within three weeks of Marvel's Avengers, Hades, Hades and Factorio. It reviewed better than 1 of the 4. It was a PlayStation 5 launch-window title.
Released around the same time: Marvel's Avengers, Hades, Hades, Factorio.
