What Meteor Blade is
Meteor Blade is a hack and slash/beat 'em up game developed by InterServ International and released in 2002. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
In this game the player takes the role of a trained assassin named Meteor Blade. Together with his colleague Meng Xing Yun he was sent to kill an influential man. Unfortunately he has a lot of goons on his side which need to be dispatched. Meteor Blade is a standard 3rd person action game: the player clicks his mouse rapidly to hit his opponents. With the right key combinations he can perform combo attacks. Since the game uses a Far Eastern setting the player mostly uses swords or throwing knifes. The story is told by unvoiced texts which are reminiscent of chat texts known from online games: they appear on the upper side of the screen during game play.
How it plays
Its themes are action and historical. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Multiplayer and Single player.
