The premise, in the publisher's words
You've slept through the end of the world. The last thing you remember is the kidnapping. As you wake up from cryosleep, you find yourself in a bunker, seemingly the last human on earth. A note from your captor encourages you to seek the tower, where you will find your answers. Now you're on your own. Explore this desolate world ruled by machines as strange as they are deadly. Find new abilities to carve your own path through obstacles and reveal secret passageways. Learn what happened to you and to the world as you seek salvation at the top of the tower. If there's any hope left for mankind, it's you.
