What Labhorror is
Labhorror is an indie game developed by Gamesforgames and released in 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
A first-person horror set in a locked mansion the size of a city block. Carry three scrolls out of a 200-metre labyrinth while a man with an axe walks its corridors. Your flashlight is the only thing he will not walk into.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action and horror. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Dual Core and 2 GB RAM. At 2GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Labhorror launched on 2 September 2026, within three weeks of Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
Released around the same time: Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
