What Iron Blight is
Iron Blight is an indie game developed by Ronesans Interactive and released in 2026. It was published by Rock Paper Publisher. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Unity.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Iron Blight is a survival horror game set in a cold, rainy Eastern Bloc town. You are trapped in a room as abominations claw at your door, with nowhere to run. You must survive the feverish night, uncover the horrors lurking in the shadows, and above all, find your wife, Valeria.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action and horror. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 22 achievements to unlock.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-3470 or Equivalent, 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti 2 GB or Equivalent. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 1GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Iron Blight launched on 24 August 2026, within three weeks of The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II.
Released around the same time: The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Mortal Shell II.
