What Frostliner is
Frostliner is an unreleased indie game in development at Nathan Gane, currently scheduled for 31 December 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
The moon shattered. The world froze. Take command of a nomadic train city hurtling through a war-ravaged frozen wasteland. In this survival city builder on rails, gather survivors, scavenge resources, and do whatever it takes to keep the engine running and stay ahead of the frost.
How it plays
It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for 8 GB RAM and GeForce 760. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 20GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
