Descenders

Descenders is an arcade game developed by RageSquid and released in 2019. It was published by No More Robots. It is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Unity.

It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are action. It supports multiplayer for up to 8 players online. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player. There are 42 achievements to unlock.

Descenders launched on 7 May 2019, within three weeks of Days Gone, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Outer Wilds and Anno 1800. It reviewed better than 1 of the 4. It arrived 6 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
