The premise, in the publisher's words
Set in the distant future of the year 2633 A.D., the story pits humanity against the sinister Red Falcon Organization, which has established a base on the fictional Galuga archipelago near New Zealand as part of a plot to wipe out the human race. To stop them, the Earth Marine Corps dispatches two elite commandos from its Contra unit, a group specializing in guerrilla warfare: Bill Rizer and Lance Bean. The pair are sent deep into the enemy-held island to tear apart Red Falcon's forces and uncover the true nature of the mysterious alien entity secretly controlling them, before its plans can doom the world.

It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action, science fiction and warfare. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
