The ancient game of Chess… reimagined. Over and over again. Chessarama is a collection of original chess-inspired turn-based games. Choose a game, quickly learn its rules and play through the campaigns, community levels or build your own puzzles. Chessarama features several full games, each one of them with its own set of rules, art, pieces and game mechanics. Each game will feature a Creative Mode that will allow you to create your own puzzles and challenge other players to beat it.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are educational and fantasy. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Chessarama launched on 5 December 2023, within three weeks of Ready or Not, The Finals, Against the Storm and The Exit 8. It arrived 3 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
