What Bard’s Fault is
Bard’s Fault is an indie game developed by Sunabi Studios and released in 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Unreal Engine 5.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Bard’s Fault is a co-op Action Roguelike where you and your friends fight back-to-back against relentless swarms. Craft new builds, sync your abilities, and break the timeline in this multiplayer bullet heaven. Death is just the beginning, go back to the past and unravel a time-travel mystery.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player. There are 80 achievements to unlock.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for x86 2GHz+, 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA 960GTX, or faster. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 10GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Bard’s Fault launched on 25 August 2026, within three weeks of Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
Released around the same time: Marvel's Wolverine, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
