How it was received
Airhead holds a critic score of 85 out of 100. That places it above 82% of the 7,525 rated adventure games in our database, which average 72. Games released in 2024 averaged 76, so it scored 9 points above the year average.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5 / AMD FX-6300, 8 GB RAM and GTX 760 2GB / Radeon R9 270X 2GB or better. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 3GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Airhead launched on 12 February 2024, within three weeks of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Balatro, Helldivers 2 and Persona 3 Reload. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
Released around the same time: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Balatro, Helldivers 2, Persona 3 Reload.
