The premise, in the publisher's words
Vortex features inventive characters, great dialogues, lots of humor and one of Indinera's most epic and spectacular quests! A dangerous creature has awaken, and only a group of skilled Elementalists (each a specialist in the element of Fire, Water, Air and Thunder) might be able to stop it, IF and only if they are able to team up and create a VORTEX. Join Sasha, Pyrotess and many other characters in this epic quest full of twists and turns, and reminiscent of the Laxius saga and Forever Heroes!

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
