The Ezo Skydom, somewhere above the clouds. Edogaka Peninsula, Kingdom of Kurozaki Former assassin and revolutionary Rina Seiko is living a peaceful life as a Genji with her girlfriend Aya Hisagawa when she receives a strange letter bearing the royal seal. The incumbent Fox Empress, under strain from the new Minister of Defence, calls upon Rina's services to retrieve an important item called the Skystone Codex, an ancient tome that holds the secrets to the skies.
