The premise, in the publisher's words
Tower Unite is a virtual world party game and sandbox game developed by PixelTail Games. It was first released in early access on Steam in April 2016 and received a full release in April 2025. The game is set on an island in the style of a resort theme park, where players can interact, play mini-games, and join lobbies via matchmaking. In addition, players can host public or private virtual spaces known as "condos", customized with furniture and props.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action, party and sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO), Multiplayer and Single player. There are 651 achievements to unlock.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for 2.4 GHz Dual-Core 64-bit CPU, 4 GB RAM and DX10 Compatible GPU with 4 GB VRAM. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 30GB.
