The premise, in the publisher's words
Timothy had a pretty normal childhood for a gangster, except for the part where he was abducted. When he was just a kid, he was taken by these weird-looking beings who gave him superpowers. Since then, Timothy’s done nothing except use those powers for his own benefit and now he controls the whole city. What Timothy neglected to remember was the part where aliens would come to conquer Earth... and now he’s the scoundrel who has to save us all.
How it plays
It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are action, open world and science fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Timothy's Night launched on 27 August 2021, within three weeks of Psychonauts 2, Deathloop, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut and Twelve Minutes. It arrived 1 year into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
