The Isle is intended to be a gritty, open-world survival horror game. Explore vast landscapes of dense forest and open plains, traverse treacherous mountains and wade through dark swamps where horrors lurk. Hidden within are ruins that hold insight as to what came before. Through it all, keep in mind there is only one goal: survive.
How it plays
It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are action, horror, open world and survival. Available modes: Co-operative, Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) and Multiplayer.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 3.0 GHz or faster., 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 280X series card or higher.. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 25GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
