The premise, in the publisher's words
For years, the Street Cleaner has been presumed dead. Killed in the fire at criminal kingpin M.R. Boss's mansion where unbeknownst to many, he managed to destroy the secret weapon hidden therein. In present day, delinquent high schooler Honoko comes home to find her room being invaded by a ninja in search of something. Chasing him down she meets up with the chain-whip wielding Cogex, and they decide together to seek the help of the missing Street Cleaner to find out what's going on.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Street Cleaner 3 launched on 28 February 2025, within three weeks of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, Split Fiction and Monster Hunter Wilds. It arrived 8 years into the Nintendo Switch's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
