The premise, in the publisher's words
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess. You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world. She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders. ... don't you trust me?
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are comedy, drama, horror and mystery. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 131 achievements to unlock.
How long it takes, and what that costs
The main story runs about 5.8 hrs. Completing everything takes closer to 13 hrs, roughly 2.2 times the length of the critical path.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for 2.6 Ghz Quad Core, 4 GB RAM and Integrated Graphics. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 13GB.
