It was developed by DreamForge Intertainment and published by ASC Games in 1998. It was a commercial success, with sales of around 300,000 units. In 2015, it was ported to iOS and Android devices.

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are horror and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 20 achievements to unlock.
