What Salmon is
Salmon is an unreleased indie game in development at SeaSharpy, currently scheduled for 1 December 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Unity 6.
The premise, in the publisher's words
You are a salmon, performing platforming that feels satisfying and ridiculous. Jump off walls, race against your friends, explore the strange world. Most people don't realise how athletic salmon can be.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action and sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 4 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 / AMD Radeon RX 560. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
