What Riftfall is
Riftfall is an unreleased arcade game in development at GameEra Studios, currently scheduled for 31 December 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
HELL DIDN'T CLOSE. IT EVOLVED. A fast, brutal retro indie FPS raised on the 90s classics: a 20-level campaign, 5 heavy weapons with alt-fires, 60+ enemy types, unique boss arenas, AI squadmates, permanent upgrades, skull keys, secrets and an epic soundtrack.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action, horror, science fiction and warfare. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for equivalent to an Intel Core 2 or higher, 8 GB RAM and DirectX 11 compatible graphics card. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 2GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
