In the neon-soaked island city of Nexon, data is power, and the oppressive megacorporation Veritas Industries holds all the cards. But their latest corporate acquisition crosses the line. They have stolen the blueprints for the C.O.R.E. - a revolutionary, Vithium-powered mechanical heart currently keeping 26-year-old tech genius Deren Kael alive.
