It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are business and science fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Quriocity launched on 14 October 2022, within three weeks of A Plague Tale: Requiem, Scorn, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord and Bayonetta 3. It arrived 2 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
