What Polyaris is
Polyaris is an unreleased indie game in development at Magic Pie Games, currently scheduled for 31 December 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Unreal Engine 5.
The premise, in the publisher's words
The main character is an engineer working in a remote northern outpost, living somewhere in the far north on the border of Norway and Russia. The game begins with the onset of a nuclear war. Since the protagonist is in the distant north, he is not directly affected, but he loses contact with the outside world.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580 / Intel ARC A750. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 50GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
