In a strange pocket universe drenched in vaporwave color and cosmic dread, a group of immortal beings called the Syndicate labors to build a perfect society and reawaken their ancient, alien gods. Their method is monstrous: they abduct humans to live as Citizens on a series of doomed islands, then ritually sacrifice them to fuel the next attempt. The current effort, Paradise Island 24, is only the latest in a long line of failures.
