What Not Monsters is
Not Monsters is an indie game developed by Actuator Digital and released in 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Godot Engine.
The premise, in the publisher's words
In a walled medieval town, villagers work together to survive while hidden monsters live among them, posing as trusted neighbours. As paranoia spreads and the monsters grow stronger each night, the townsfolk must uncover the truth before a seven-night ritual reaches its terrifying conclusion.
How it plays
It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are action and survival. Available modes: Co-operative and Multiplayer.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for x86_64 CPU with SSE4.2 support, 4 GB RAM and Vulkan 1.0 compatible GPU, e.g. Intel HD Graphics 510 / AMD Radeon R5 or better. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
