Mortal Shell is an indie game developed by Cold Symmetry and released in 2020. It was published by Playstack. It is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Unreal Engine 4.

Mortal Shell launched on 18 August 2020, within three weeks of Marvel's Avengers, Factorio, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and Risk of Rain 2. It reviewed better than 1 of the 4. It arrived 7 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
