What it launched against

Lost Ember launched on 22 November 2019, within three weeks of Death Stranding, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Pokémon Sword and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 6 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.

Released around the same time: Death Stranding, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Pokémon Sword, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
