The premise, in the publisher's words
It's unclear why Mat & Chris* felt they needed to experiment on frogs while creating space-time portals from their secret lab buried deep beneath the moon's surface; but when a huge explosion leaves them desparate for help, it's those very same frogs that will need to save the day. *To be fair, Chris wasn't keen on using frogs.

It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
